[Audio Summary: Audio for the script sharing this title. Binaurals are included to amplify the effectiveness of it. Since this is meant to be listened to while in bed and going to sleep, no visual component is included.] - Audio posted 06/15/2016

Since it's a bit counter-productive for a sleep aid to be purely text...

Here you go. As previously stated, use with caution. This is designed to put you to sleep for the night. There is no instruction to wake at the end.

Just the script:

A binaural designed to assist in falling asleep. Feel free to use it separately, if you like:

And the script with the binaural attached...at a lower volume, per request.

Enjoy.

[Summary: One of the few vanilla scripts I've published over the years, designed purely as a sleep aid. Notably, you are instructed to fall asleep almost immediately following the reading of it. It exploits the desire to go to sleep.] - 05/27/2016 - 14:30

[Warning: This script is designed to put you to sleep. Use with caution, or before bed.]

Sometimes, you visit here to satiate your arousal. You click "read more," in search of satisfying the desire to be controlled, brainwashed, and mesmerized. Those visits are sexual in nature, they feed your lust.

I'm quite happy to provide material for those moments, obviously, but there are other times where that sort of satisfaction isn't what you want - or it isn't possible for a myriad of reasons. Sometimes, it makes sense to seek something less-than-sensual here.

Among these tamer curiosities that lead to hypnotic exploration is a sensation called somnolence, the feeling of drowsiness...a strong desire for sleep. You could consider it to be the curse of the insomniac. It's likely to be a state you're familiar with on some level, whether or not you've heard the term before. We all have our restless nights.

Let's explore the notion of somnolence, shall we?

Picture yourself in bed. Perhaps that's where you are now. Feel the softness of the sheets against your skin, then take a moment to appreciate the way your head rests against your pillow. Wherever you are, be sure that you are comfortable as we continue.

You are exhausted, and you know that you need to sleep, but your mind is latched onto something - maybe one thing, maybe a thousand things cascading in an endless loop inside your head. You recognize the problem at hand, but quieting the mind can be a daunting task.

Now you're here, with my words, hoping to deal with those unwanted thoughts. It's a good start - just getting this far, your mind is already more focused. Focus allows you to tune out some of what is keeping you awake, and to let your thoughts start to fade into static.

Focusing on my words exposes you to my influence, and that gives me the ability to guide you towards sleep. It is much easier to calm your mind with some assistance, after all. The flow of my words has already begun to soothe you, and will continue to subdue your thoughts for as long as you allow.

Let's turn down the volume on that static. Recall the word somnolence, the strong desire for sleep, and consider your own desire to rest. Focus, for a moment, on the weight of that need. It is subtle at first. Feel the pull of gravity, and notice that it seems somehow stronger as you open yourself to it...you feel heavier than you did a moment ago. Latch onto that feeling as your perception of it becomes more intense.

Now that your somnolence has grown potent enough to be felt physically, we can allow the problem of sleepiness to help solve itself. Continue to feel that enhanced gravity, and deliberately slow your breathing for me. Create a rhythm for it by counting to three as you inhale, pausing for a moment, and exhaling comfortably. Give yourself several breaths to adjust, and take several more breaths to find a counting speed that suits you.

That's good. The extra air flowing into your lungs will assist you in feeling the weight and depth of your exhaustion. Let your brain take over the breathing - it's very good at that. Remember how obstructive your thoughts were earlier, and notice how they've faded into a dim static. My words are much more clear, and the longer you focus on them, the softer that static becomes. Soon it will fade away completely, leaving you free to drift leisurely to sleep.

Your thoughts fading to static and starting to disappear is a very good sign. After all, you don't want to think. You want to sleep. Fixate on those words, give them some extra emphasis...and repeat them softly to yourself.

You don't want to think.

You want to sleep.

You are tired, your body is heavy.

You don't want to think.

You want to sleep.

That's better. Each repetition of those words is like turning the volume knob down further on your static-thoughts. You'll find that chanting to yourself is a very effective way to quiet your mind, particularly when you are chanting my words. Chanting my words means you don't have to think, so you can focus on feeling that enhanced sensation of gravity as you breathe deeply. Allow your somnolence to pull you down and help you relax more as your thoughts slip from static to silence.

Your thoughts are static.

Static sounds soft and soothing.

You want to sleep.

Your thoughts are static.

Static sounds soft and soothing.

You need to sleep.

The gradual fading of your mind is a comfortable sensation. Allow it to occupy your attention, and before you know it, your body will be heavy and still. You could move, but you don't want to move. You want to sink slowly into your bed as you are pulled inexorably down to sleep. The weight in your body is mirrored in your head, and your thoughts are no longer an obstacle. They are simply another part of you succumbing to the desire for slumber.

Static fades to silence.

Silence slides towards slumber.

You need to sleep.

Your somnolent mind is silent.

You are falling asleep.

Close your eyes for a moment, if you haven't already. Now open your eyes. Feel how difficult it was, feel how they struggle to remain shut...almost fluttering closed. You are caught firmly in the gravity of somnolence. It feels cozy, somehow, but it has grown from a soft sensation to an irresistible pull. Soon, it will draw you all the way down to sleep.

Speak this chant softly to yourself as you start to drift down, deeper. Listen to the sound of the words. It's okay to miss some words or phrases. Just let the sounds soothe you and sink softly towards sleep.

You don't want to think.

You want to sleep.

You are tired, your body is heavy.

Your thoughts are static.

Static sounds soft and soothing.

You need to sleep.

Static fades to silence.

Silence slides towards slumber.

You need to sleep.

Your somnolent mind is silent.

You are falling asleep.

Sweet dreams.
